I have been racing the on a Beneteau 36.7 for the past two summers, usually on foredeck or trimming the genoa. Prior to that, I was on a C&C33 and J-24s. I have never done a long distance race before, but I am very keen to do this one. Id be happy to go on either the spinnaker race or white sail. 33 years old, 170 pounds.

Bruce has also been awarded US Sailing's Alfred B. Hanson medal for at-sea rescue. Lots more info at http:// www.bruceschwab.com.

I've been in two previous 300's. I'm a CYA intermediate instructor with loads of experience on Lake Ontario, overnight, in any position. Prefer the long distance race but can do white sail.

I am an NCAA college sailor for Duke, and also am racing a busy schedule this summer on the beneteau 40.7 Umi Taka, out of Rochester Yacht Club (fleet racing, scotch bonnet, freeman cup, toronto nood, lyra, levels etc.). I have not been able to convince the owner or any of the crew to commit to doing the lake ontario 300. We just raced in Scotch Bonnet (just under 90 nautical miles), and most of them claim that the race was enough for them for the summer in terms of distance racing. I would be very interrested in getting on a boat for the 300. I am a very solid sailor in all positions day and night, and handle myslef very well in endurance races.
