| Delivered boats to the south,
sailed my own and raced down south in the big name regattas. Very experienced with spinnaker.
"Nights" are my forte. Raced long distances as well.

| I have six years experience on a Viking where I've been the foredeck person and spinnaker trimmer. I've competed at EYC and CORK and have crossed Lake Ontario twice in the Viking. Not a lot of experience and I perhaps have more enthusiasm than ability but I'm available should someone be needing crew.

This is my first full summer racing my Mirage 24, Iroquois, out of Highland Yacht Club in Bluffer's Park. I was hoping to skipper my boat on the LO300 (short-handed flying) but it seems I've left my preparations a little late, so now I'm looking for an opportunity to help someone else.
I've sailed for 7 years or so, and have my Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced CYA cruising courses completed. As well, I've completed the Coastal Navigation course, the Radio Operator's course, my boater's card, and my Toronto Port Authority Harbour license. I have all the required personal safety equipment and have completed 3 week-long trips involving 24-7 sailing and navigating. I've solo sailed several lake crossings.
My race experience is limited, but as mentioned above I am skippering my Mirage in all of this year's Wednesday night racing (whitesails) at Bluffer's Park. Also, in 2004, I completed a week-long racing course (on J-24's) at the J World Performance Sailing School in Newport, Rhode Island.

I've been in two previous 300's. I'm a CYA intermediate instructor with loads of experience on Lake Ontario, overnight, in any position. Prefer the long distance race but can do white sail.

I am an NCAA college sailor for Duke, and also am racing a busy schedule this summer on the beneteau 40.7 Umi Taka, out of Rochester Yacht Club (fleet racing, scotch bonnet, freeman cup, toronto nood, lyra, levels etc.). I have not been able to convince the owner or any of the crew to commit to doing the lake ontario 300. We just raced in Scotch Bonnet (just under 90 nautical miles), and most of them claim that the race was enough for them for the summer in terms of distance racing. I would be very interrested in getting on a boat for the 300. I am a very solid sailor in all positions day and night, and handle myslef very well in endurance races.
